Beyond classrooms and training halls, Mera Parivar assists families in navigating public schemes and entitlements, and advocates on issues affecting the communities it works with — so support continues after a programme ends.

Government Schemes & Legal Identity Documentation

Migrant and underprivileged families in urban settlements frequently miss out on state benefits due to missing identity paperwork. Mera Parivar operates administrative assistance desks that guide families step-by-step through filing applications for legal identity documents and welfare cards.

In partnership with the National Rural Health Mission and local Primary Health Centres (PHC), Mera Parivar organizes regular fortnightly medical checkups and child immunization camps directly inside informal settlements.

Community Marches & Rights Campaigns

Mera Parivar conducts street rallies and open-air community dialogues addressing critical socio-legal issues. Under banners like 'Stop Child Abuse at Home', our advocacy teams mobilize parents, youth, and local leaders to protect vulnerable children and demand civic accountability.
